Indian Night at Grand Hyatt Melbourne

Indian night on the 1st and 3rd week of every month is said to be a crowd puller. I had long been planning for this. Entry just costs a nominal 12$. I wanted to listen to grooves, mega bass , and wanted to see what sort of crowd was in.(coz it will be pop corn for my blog)

So there we were 4 of us at the event yesterday. We enetered the club around 11pm. The 1 st thing i saw when I enetered the place was one of my close friend who is a usual visitor, sipping the glass. Hip hop beats were spinning and the place seemed vibrant. Without a 2nd thought one could gauge that it was predominantly a student crowd.

But what was surprising though was that the melbourne cold weather outside had vanished and it was as hot as it could get inside the club. The floor was full by midnight and there was hardly any place to walk or hop...it was like people were dancing on top of a stove.

There were countless bangra tunes churnned out, and for once one would have thought whether one was at a punjabi wedding ceremony. The usual mugging around loners were also present. By 3 am we had almost exhausted our energy tank, and made a jump out of the place.
"salaam namaste.." was spun for the 2nd time. Good god play some better tunes..

overall my score for Indian night out of 5

Music - 1.5
Crowd - 2
Feel - 3
Timing - 4
Cost - 4
Atmosphere - 1
